OVERVIEW
The Windsor Regional Cardiology Program proudly delivers cardiac care to patients in the Erie St. Clair LHIN. As the Regional Cardiac Care Centre, we are dedicated to providing our diverse community with timely access to leading cardiology services through best practice and expertise in diagnosis, treatment and education.
PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
Coronary Care Unit
The Coronary Care Unit is located on the fourth floor at the Ouellette Campus. This unit is staffed by dedicated and highly skilled teams of healthcare professionals who provide state-of-the-art care to patients with heart problems who need closer monitoring.
Cardiac Catheterization Lab
As the only PCI (Percutaneous coronary intervention) centre in the region, patients experiencing heart attack-like symptoms (STEMI) are transferred to the catheterization lab for immediate medical intervention.
Cardio Diagnostics
Windsor Regional Hospital offers comprehensive heart and pulmonary testing in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.
