GETTING HERE – CANCER CENTRE

Parking:

• View the Cancer Centre Parking Map for hospital parking and bike rack locations.
• Limited parking is available in the Alsace Avenue lot for patients and visitors to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre with an appointment that day. A parking attendant will check patient names and appointments. The discounted rate for cancer patients is $3.00 per day.
• Additional designated permit parking spots are available along Alsace Ave. and Kildare Rd. for patients receiving care in the Cancer Centre. WRH will also offer parking and shuttle services in the Kildare shuttle lot at 1591 Kildare Road, just North of Seneca St., next to Stodgell Baseball Park.
• To utilize these services, patients can request a FREE parking permit package from the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre registration desk in the main lobby. This package includes a hangable permit for your rearview mirror (for the shuttle lot) and a smaller green permit to place on your dashboard when parking in one of the designated spots on Alsace Ave. or Kildare Rd.
• PLEASE NOTE: Parking in either of these areas, the proper permit must be visible; tickets will be issued for those parking in these areas without a valid permit. Shuttle runs every 10 to 15 minutes, with stops at the main lobby entrance of the hospital and the main entrance of the Cancer Centre. Shuttle service hours are from Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.
• Additional parking is also available in the Windsor Regional Hospital main visitor’s lot on Lens Avenue. Please bring your parking ticket with you to your Cancer Centre appointment, and a staff member will validate your appointment OR bring your parking voucher to one of the following desks below to be stamped by a Cancer Centre staff member to be charged the $3.00 parking fee:

• Cancer Centre Radiation Desk
• Cancer Centre Pod A
• Systemic (Chemotherapy) Suite
• Cancer Centre Satellite Laboratory
• Parking rates vary depending on location and are marked at each entrance.

Discounted Rates:

• If you are making frequent trips to the hospital, parking coupons/tokens are available at a discounted rate in the Cashier’s Office.

Transit:

• Transit Windsor provides service with stops at the public entrance of each campus.

Bike Storage:

• Bike storage is available at each of our campuses. Please refer to the Met Campus Parking Map for bike rack locations at the Met Campus.
